RUST is a three-floor venue in Nørrebro that has operated since 1989, making it one of Copenhagen's longest-running nightlife institutions. The building combines a live concert stage with several bar and club floors, giving it a dual identity as both a touring-band venue and a late-night club. On weekend nights, RUST's club floors move through techno, house and electro programming, run alongside its own promoters and occasional external bookings, while its main stage continues to host concerts across a wider range of genres. The venue's scale and longevity have made it a fixture of Nørrebro's nightlife rather than a niche club, with its electronic programming forming a consistent, if not exclusive, part of its weekly calendar.
