Poolen is a large-format warehouse venue on Refshaleøen, built inside a former B&W industrial hall by the team behind Pumpehuset. It is one of the larger rooms in the city's electronic and concert circuit, built with a substantial sound and lighting rig to match. Programming spans full concerts and touring live acts alongside club nights and promoter takeovers, with electronic bookings forming an increasingly large part of its calendar. Poolen also runs Outside, an adjoining outdoor extension used for open-air parties and festival-style events during warmer months. Alongside Hangaren and Klub Werkstatt, Poolen anchors Refshaleøen as one of Copenhagen's main large-scale electronic and warehouse-event destinations.
