UnderWerket is a volunteer-run venue in Valby aimed at young organisers, offering rooms, sound equipment and organisational support for self-run events rather than operating as a commercial club. Alongside concerts and youth-organised gatherings, the space regularly hosts electronic and techno nights, including noise and experimental programming from independent local promoters. Its basement setting and community-support model give it a different character from Copenhagen's commercial club venues — events are typically organised by the young promoters themselves rather than booked in by the venue. UnderWerket's role in the city's electronic scene is smaller-scale and more grassroots than the larger clubs, functioning as an entry point for new organisers putting on their first electronic events.
