Baggen (Club)

Flæsketorvet 19, 1711 København V (opens Google Maps in a new tab)

Baggen combines a bar, club and gallery space in Copenhagen's Meatpacking District (Kødbyen), with its electronic programming concentrated in a basement dancefloor reached via a narrow staircase from the street-level bar. The room's low-lit, industrial character — exposed surfaces, minimal styling — suits its regular house, techno and disco bookings, alongside occasional gallery and art programming upstairs that broadens the venue beyond a single-purpose club. Alongside Jolene and Basement, it's one of several rooms in the district that keep electronic music a consistent part of the area's late-night programme rather than an occasional booking.
