Sami Galbi CH/MA

About

Sami Galbi transforms North African working class genres such as raï and chaâbi into intense and charming club music that goes straight to the body. With drum machines, synths and guitar effects, he creates a colourful and futuristic sound where traditional folk music meets pop and club culture. Following his critically acclaimed debut album “YLH BYEBYE”, Galbi has quickly become a new audience favourite. Come experience him with his trio at ALICE this October, before he takes on the biggest stages. Swiss-Moroccan multi-instrumentalist and producer Sami Galbi comes from the alternative Swiss music scene, but draws on his parallel musical influences to create a deeply personal sound.
